Spring 2010

Tyler and I went to San Diego for Easter.  We had a blast.  We were able to celebrate Easter with his mom brother and sister and Aunt and Uncle and their two kids.  We were also able to go to the Beach and to Knotts berry farm.  It was beautiful and we can't wait to go back.

EaRtHqUaKe.....

So I have never experienced an earthquake until TODAY!...I'm not going to lie i was slightly frightened, wasn't sure what it was at first but then it just kept going.  I can't imagine being right at the center of it and it lasting for 2 minutes like the recent disasters.  It was a 6.9 earthquake that lasted 20-30 seconds so it was a good sized earthquake.  We were in the kitchen talking to tyler's aunt and uncle and he was leaning up against the wall when he looked around and all of a sudden was all we are having an earthquake.  We all went outside and with the windows rattling, ground moving; it felt like it just kept going.  Don't worry everyone was ok!!  The earthquake was about 3:30 or so, there was an aftershock later this evening about 6:50 or so and lasted only 2-3 seconds or so just windows rattling.  It was quite an eventful day. All those in Haiti and Chili you are in our thoughts and prayers.

San Diego

So i'm seriously considering moving here especially if it looks like and feels like this most of the time...
We went to Seaport Village today it was actually pretty neat.  There were street musicians,a guy stacking rocks, who ever knew stacking rocks could be so neat! Ate some good burgers and watched the sailboats!
