So. I watched princess and the frog tonight! I so wish I could dance on a lilly pad in the middle of the bayou. Or perhaps be a singing fire fly. still not sure which. wouldn't it be strange if everybody's butt's lit up at night...

Happy Anniversary

Wow, one year aready can you believe it?! I sure can't, although i can at the same time.  So much has happened within this first year of our marriage.  Good, Bad, fun, exciting, sad and wonderful things. So marriage.. not quite what i had expected.  I thought it was going to be all fun and exciting and just like it was when we were dating.  The minute we got married, reality hit, hard.  Marriage is all fun but life is still here and some of life isn't fun.  Marriage is hard, but great all at the same time.  Tyler is great we have gotten to know each other so well, and i hope to continue to learn so much more about him.  To all of you who are not yet married. Don't give up, everything eventually works out.  Don't set goals you cannot reach.  Everyone fights.  Communicate, this has been one of our hardest struggles.  We are both stubborn but we always resolve our issues.  Not one disagreement goes unsolved.  Remember you both grew up in different families, you both may do things very different but, remember compromises are life savers.  All in all marriage is awesome , trials bring you closer and increase your love for one another.  I love tyler so much and have had to rely on him for so many things throughout the year.  I love you honey Happy Anniversary.

Swim suit season is approaching,time to hit the gym

So i have been working out almost everyday for the past couple of weeks..lets just say it's been a while...a long long while.  I'm starting to really enjoy myself.  Went to a Spin Class tonight with my mom, WOW never been to one of those before... Let me tell you what, OUCH!!! Gotta love it.  I have to tell myself it will be worth it i promise you that, it was actually very fun...not gonna lie, although i have certain areas aka..my behind that is throbbing because of that dang little seat...who invented that, americans have big tushs. All in all great workout, planning on going again before my behind pain starts to wear off so that it doesn't hurt too bad next time. 

Boys and their Tools

Alright so once again i have gotten behind on my blogging, so if you want to read all the posts there are 4.  My father is such a handy man, he is currently working on finishing the basement so that they have a place to party!! I was watching lincoln for just a little bit at my parents and lincoln wanted to go see papa, so we walked downstairs and link saw that papa had tools, so he says me.  Papa went and found him some tools that he could help out with.  When papa needed something he would ask link to go get it for him and he would come back with the proper tool. He is a good little helper, the cutest boys.  Boys and their Tools.

Valentines Day

Wow, our first valentines as a married couple already, I can hardly believe we are coming up on our 1 year mark so quickly.  Morning: Valentines breakfast, french toast, bacon, hashbrowns, juice and exchanging gifts to and from the family. Afternoon-Evening: Ty took me to get my ring soddered together, then we went and saw When in Rome, then we went to dinner at Ruby River, and to finish it off we got to book our very first cruise together for our anniversary.  I am super excited. It was a wonderful first Valentines together!

Soldier Hollow

Every couple of months my boss takes our office to do something fun together In January we got to go up to Soldier Hollow.  It was a BLAST enough said. I haven't been sledding in years and it was so much fun.  Here are just a few of the fun times that we had that day!!

In Memory of my sweet, loving Grandpa Ward

I have finally gotten the strength to post about my grandfather.  He passed away January 3,2010. Grandpa Ward is one of the sweetest, kindest men i have ever met.  He had such great spirit and strength about him.  My family was very lucky to have gotten to spend so much time with him.  He and Grandma Ward had this motor home, in which is parked in my parents driveway, they would come up every couple of months and stay for quite a few weeks at a time.  We would go out there and enjoy good conversations and eat panda express.  Every time they came up here to Utah they had to get Panda Express for everyone, they loved it.  Grandpa always wanted to make sure every one of his children, grandchildren, great grandchilren and friends all felt loved.  He would always tell each and every one of us that we were "his favorite", "you are my favorite meggie do you know that" he would always say to me.  My family also got the pleasure of taking Grandpa and Grandma on multiple family vacations with us.  They came on a cruise with us and to Hawaii for a couple of weeks with us.  So many wonderful vacations and experiences. 

I remember one of the last times I really got to spend good quality time with him, Kelsey, my mom and I all went down to Idaho to visit our grandparents before kelsey went on her mission.  Kelsey and I stayed the night at Grandma and Grandpa wards house. They took us to get pizza and while we were picking up the pizza grandma and kelsey ran into the grocery store to grab some food for the next day.  Grandpa and I sat in the car and talked about marriage because i had recently gotten married 2 months prior.  We talked about compromises and how to care so deeply for one another.  We also talked about in-laws and how great they are and that they turn into your own family although sometimes it may take a while.  He gave me some great advise seeing as he and Grandma had been married for 56 years.  He was a pro. on all of this marriage stuff. 

I am just so unbelievably greatful that i was able to get married to Tyler when i did so that he was able to be there in the Temple with us.  It is still so surreal that he is actually gone, although I know that i will be able to see him and be with him again someday.  He is in a better place, he is no longer in pain and suffering.  We sure love and miss you Grandpa Ward.
